Stephanie Zavala Graces Stadium

It was a warm Saturday afternoon at Chavez Ravine, when time stopped for a few minutes as Sam Houston State and Team USA bowler Stephanie Zavala toured the grounds of the future World Series champion Los Angeles Dodgers.

Also known as the team’s number one fan, Zavala was instantly admired by tour guide Paul, Dodger genius Jonathan Garza, Corey Seager and Alex Verdugo.

“It was without a doubt the highlight of my offseason,” Corey Seager said, “with her presence on the ground, the team will be motivated to win at least 110 games next season and bring home a ring.”

All that was missing with an appearance by Andre Ethier and Chase Utley. But, not to panic, they soon may be in the fold in the Dodgers’ 2018 future plans.

Merry Christmas from DodgerVerse

The staff at DodgerVerse would like to wish a Merry Christmas to all of the great fans of the Los Angeles Dodgers. The new year is just around the corner, which means that Spring Training and Opening Day are just behind.

Dodgers to Target in Fantasy Baseball in 2018

If you thought that having Dodger players on your fantasy football team was good in 2017, you’re going to be in for quite the delight in 2018.

Yasiel Puig

The Wild Horse is set for a breakout season in 2018. Expect him to hit .300 with 25 home runs and 80 RBIs. If he’s available in the middle rounds of your draft, snatch him up quick!

Garza: Go Get Andrew McCutchen

Imagine an outfield of Yasiel Puig, Bryce Harper (in free agency next offseason) and Andrew McCutchen. If that does not instill fear into opposing teams, what will?

Dodgers Sign Pitcher Tom Koehler

The Dodgers announced Wednesday a deal with free agent pitcher Tom Koehler worth $2 million plus incentives. The deal has the potential to increase should Koehler hit a threshold of 20 starts or 60 relief appearances.

Will the Dodgers Pursue Christian Yelich?

The Giancarlo Stanton sweepstakes went to the Yankees; and then Marcell Ozuna was traded to the Cardinals. The next player the Marlins could be moving is Christian Yelich, and it appears that the Dodgers are the frontrunners in trade talks.

Dodgers Trade Four Players for Matt Kemp

The Los Angeles Dodgers have traded Adrian Gonzalez, Charlie Culberson, Scott Kazmir and Brandon McCarthy to the Atlanta Braves in exchange for outfielder Matt Kemp. The deal was announced Saturday afternoon.
